Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! I offer a complimentary 30-minute discovery call where we’ll discuss your project, goals, and how I can help. This gives you a chance to ask questions, understand my process, and see if we’re a good fit – with no obligation. It’s the best way to start any project and ensures we’re both confident about moving forward together.
I need a website but don’t know where to start, can you help?
That’s exactly what I’m here for! Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by the website process, and I’ve designed my approach specifically for business owners who aren’t tech-savvy. During our consultation, I’ll ask the right questions to understand your business and goals, then guide you through each step. You don’t need to know anything about websites, I’ll handle the technical details while keeping you informed throughout the process.
What if my business is too small for professional design?
No business is too small for professional design! Some of my most successful projects have been with small businesses and startups. Professional design actually gives smaller businesses a competitive edge, it helps you look established and trustworthy, which is crucial when competing against larger companies. I offer scalable solutions and packages designed specifically for small business budgets, so you can get professional results that fit your needs and grow with your business.

I offer branding, graphic design, packaging design, and custom WordPress web design. Whether you need a logo, website, marketing materials or all of the above, I provide design solutions tailored to your business.
How long have you been in business?
I’ve been in the design industry for over 25+ years. That experience helps me deliver clear, consistent and well-considered work for every client I work with.
Who do you usually work with?
Most of my clients are small business owners, solopreneurs, non-profits and professionals who need a design partner they can rely on. They’re usually time-poor and want someone who can take the lead and get the job done well.
Do you work with clients outside of Daisy Hill?
Yes. While I’m based in Daisy Hill, I work with clients across Australia and beyond. Everything can be managed online, so distance is never a problem.
Working Together
What’s the process like?
It starts with a conversation. I’ll ask about your goals, timeline and what you’re hoping to achieve. From there, I’ll put together a tailored proposal. Once we kick off, I’ll guide you through each step, from concept to completion, keeping things clear and collaborative. You can also learn more about my approach here.
Who will I be working with?
Just me. I don’t outsource or use offshore contractors. Every piece of design, every email, and every part of the process is handled by me personally—so you always know who you’re dealing with.
Do you take on small projects?
Absolutely. Whether you need a single flyer or a full rebrand, I’ll let you know whether it’s a good fit—and how we can approach it efficiently.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes. For websites, I offer ongoing maintenance, updates and support if needed. For other design work, I’m always happy to help with additional pieces as your business evolves.
Pricing & Timelines
How much will my project cost?
Pricing depends on the scope and complexity. After an initial consultation, I’ll put together a clear quote with no surprises—so you know exactly what’s included.
Do you have set packages?
While I occasionally offer service bundles, most of my work is tailored. If you need a combination of services, I can create a custom package that fits your goals and budget.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. For larger projects, I’m happy to split payments into stages to help spread out the cost.
How long will it take?
Every project is different. Small design jobs may take a week or two, while websites or brand packages can take 4–10 weeks depending on complexity. I’ll give you a realistic timeline at the start.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. I typically ask for a 50% deposit to lock in your project, with the remainder due upon completion.
How much does logo design cost in Brisbane?
Branding projects vary based on complexity and scope, but my branding packages typically range from $800 to $1,500 AUD. This isn’t just a logo – it’s a complete brand identity that includes your logo, colour palette, typography, brand guidelines, strategy document, plus you can choose two additional items such as business cards, letterheads, or other marketing materials. During our consultation, I’ll provide a detailed quote based on your specific needs and timeline. Unlike template logos or DIY options, you’ll receive a unique design that truly represents your business based on research and strategy.
Branding & Design
Can you work with my existing logo or brand?
Definitely. I can work within existing brand guidelines or help you refresh what you’ve got if things need a bit of a polish.
I don’t know what I want, can you help me figure it out?
That’s part of the process. I’ll ask the right questions to help us define your direction and make sure the final result feels like a natural fit for your business.
You can also view my portfolio to see if you think we will be a good fit.Do you offer printing services?
I don’t offer in-house printing, but I’ve got you covered. I can either:
- Organise printing for you through my trusted local suppliers, or
- Provide print-ready files if you’d prefer to use your own printer.
Either way, I’ll make sure your designs are set up correctly for professional results.
Can you create designs for social media?
I offer social media graphics and editable templates so you can post consistently while keeping things on-brand.
Do you design packaging?
Yes. I offer packaging design for products—labels, boxes, wraps and retail-ready layouts that are aligned with your brand. I can also liaise with your printer or supplier if needed.
Can I request changes during the project?
Absolutely. I want you to be happy with the final result. We’ll go through key stages of feedback and revisions as part of the process to make sure your website aligns with your vision.
Web Design
Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Yes. Every website I build is fully responsive, so it looks great and works smoothly across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Do you use templates or custom design?
I design every website from scratch to suit your brand and needs. I don’t use off-the-shelf templates—so your site will look and feel like yours, not like everyone else’s.
Can I update the site myself once it’s live?
Yes. I build all websites in WordPress and make sure they’re easy to manage. I also offer basic training or documentation so you can feel confident making updates.
Do you help with hosting and domains?
If I’m building your website, I recommend using my hosting and maintenance package—it keeps everything in one place and running smoothly. I can also help you register your domain and guide you through the setup so everything’s ready to go.
How much will it cost me?
My website packages start from $4,000 + GST. If you’re after something smaller, larger, or need an ecommerce setup, I’ll provide a custom quote based on your needs.
Do I need to provide the content?
Not entirely—putting content together can be overwhelming, so I make it as easy as possible. As part of my process, I’ll guide you through what’s needed and help shape the content strategy for your website.
You’ll need to provide your logo and any existing images you’d like to use (or we can organise new ones if needed). From there, we’ll create a clear plan for how we’ll tackle the content—together.
What about images—do I need to supply those?
If you already have photos you’d like to use, that’s great! We can also chat about what else might be needed during the planning phase.
I can help source high-quality stock images (additional cost), or we can organise professional photography if you’re after something more tailored. Whatever your situation, I’ll guide you through the options and make sure we’ve got the right visuals to bring your website to life.
Can you train me to use the website?
Yes! I’ll provide video tutorials to walk you through updating your site. You’ll also get two weeks of post-launch support, and if you need long-term help, my care plans have you covered.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Definitely. I build your site with ease of use in mind, so you can confidently make changes on your own—or reach out if you’d rather hand it over.
Can you help with social media or email marketing?
Yes, I can integrate both into your website build and help you get set up. Whether it’s linking social accounts or setting up your email marketing platform, we’ll make sure it works smoothly.
Technical Questions
What’s the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org?
Great question! WordPress.com is a hosted platform with limitations on customisation and plugins. WordPress.org is the self-hosted version that gives you complete control and flexibility, this is what I use for custom development. With WordPress.org, you own your site completely, can add any functionality you need, and aren’t restricted by platform limitations. I’ll handle all the technical setup so you get the benefits without the hassle.
Will my WordPress site be secure?
Absolutely. Security is built into every WordPress site I create. I implement strong passwords, regular updates, security plugins, SSL certificates, and reliable hosting with backup systems. I also offer ongoing maintenance plans that include security monitoring and updates to keep your site protected long-term. You’ll have peace of mind knowing your business website is secure.
